I am not kidding you. First of all, put the base coat to help the polish adhere better and protect the nail from staining. Half a tablespoon of cornstarch is enough for one hand. Take a spoon and blend that out. Pour a little nail color on the plate to do a test run. Take your stirring stick and start scooting over some of that cornstarch. A little bit is enough, too much will appear too chunky.

Now is time to do a test run on your thumb and make sure the texture is exactly how you wanted it. After that you are going to apply the top coat starting from the middle of the nail going to one side then the other. It takes about 10 minutes to start seeing completely matte. Once you are satisfied with your test run, go ahead and paint the rest of the nails. Don’t forget to clean up the edges.
